Club Championships.

The draw is being made this week and will be posted on the club website and advised by newsletter next week. The format of this tournament is matchplay. The full schedule will be available next week.   

Mixed Golf Wednesday

Tee time for this event will be 1130am starting from 19April. (next Wednesday) 

Alpine Village Inn Shoot Out

The final for this event will be on the 5^th November.

On this date, 19 qualifiers will tee off together and 1 player will be eliminated on each hole until an eventual winner is found. .

To qualify for this final your two best rounds, played on any qualifying Saturday are added together.

Qualifying rounds are

April 15/ May 20/ June 10/ July 15/ August 12/ September 9/ October 14.

An update from the Greenkeepers 

Autumn is here and the course is in pretty good shape heading into winter. Some small renovation work has taken place on the Green surrounds and tee's, these have all been scarified helping to remove some of the thatch build up, the results are good and they are recovering nicely. The greens have been sprayed for weeds, in particular Dihondra which was slowly moving in. As a result some of the greens have some slight thinning and unusual patches, they are recovering and hopefully will gain some more cover heading into winter.  Tuesday working bee's are tracking well with a few projects being completed and a few being started.
