The Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa NZPGA Pro Am Hanmer Springs Golf Club 3rd/4th February.

With more than 180 participants, this event was a resounding success, giving the club a profitable weekend as well as some excellent exposure.

Steve and Neil excelled in the preparation of the course, which, without exception, was lauded by professionals and amateurs alike.

Even a torrential downpour on Saturday couldn't dampen the spirits of those playing. Speaking of spirit, there was also a lot of that shown at the Sunday night celebrations.

The eventual winners were the Hawarden team of Erin Mulholland, Max Walker, and Keith Yorston. (pictured below)

In second place and flying the flag for Hanmer Springs GC were Gordon Simpson, Garry Ritsma, and Steve Gill.

The top pro was Murray Lott, who scored 63 and 67 for a total of 130 over the two days. Great golf.
