A beautiful Autumn day in Hanmer Springs saw a big field return some good scores. It was great to see Don Giles back and playing some quality golf.

Course Report

The big tree on number 6 fairway has been felled and mounded to cover the stump.

The broom and gorse around the course have been spayed and are dying off.

Some paths around the course will be covered with lime chips.

The alternate number 5 tee has been dug up and replanted to try and re-establish a good surface.

The next major green renovation will be in October after the 54-hole tournament.

Provincial Interclub at Hanmer Springs. 

On Saturday, May 11th, and Sunday, May 12th, we are hosting North Cantebury vs. Marlborough. It is recommended that all members book for tee times that weekend on Saturday, as we expect to be very busy.

Front 9 closed Sunday 5th May.

We are hosting a disc golf tournament this Sunday and the front 9 will be closed.

The back 9 remains open for members and gree fee players.

These events are a big earning opportunity for the club. Thank you for your understanding.
