Chipping around the green

When chipping onto the green and you happen to hit the ball on the head or play a shot that races across the green, this has happened because you break your wrist at impact with the ball

To fix this, hold the club half way down the grip, hands slightly forward of the ball,

now you have formed a triangle up your left arm across your shoulders down your right arm.

Swing the club back keeping the triangle on the downswing hit the ground and ball at the same time and follow through keeping the triangle.
