The Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa Pro Am

The weather was glorious, the golf was scintillating, and the clubrooms were a hive of activity as we hosted a field of 130 amateurs and 40 professionals at our premier tournament last weekend.

Steve and Neil had the course in tiptop condition, and the quality of the greens was remarked on throughout the weekend.

The winning team was Wayne Rogers (professional) with his all-female team of Anne Hodgin Jones, Eileen Holden, and Sue Mullins, who eased into a big lead over the chasing pack. Congratulations to all of you.

There were good performances from Steve McCormick and team, Paul Clarke and team, and the Hight boys, and notable mentions for Hanmer Springs club members Maree Herlund, Mark Minson, Phil McKinnell, Nicky West, and Brent Berry.

The weekend was rounded off nicely on Sunday evening with music by Norm, a few drinks between friends, and a very cheerful and satisfied group of golfers.
