Club Day 15th February 2025

Everyone knew that Barry Toomey meant business when he turned up on Saturday in his brand new Chelsea FC top. Barry played his best ever round with a 75 off the stick and 43 stablefords to romp home to victory.

Sam Gavin and Ross Campbell finished 2nd and 3rd on 36points.  

Mike Gibbon was content to score the only 2 of the day and clean out the kitty.

Visitor, Mike Fisher was closest to the pin. 

Jackpot 2's and net eagles were not struck.

We have Ladies Pennants on Monday next week and then our premier Ladies event The Kjole Ladies Tournament also starting next week and will have some course closures as follows.

Monday, 24th  February: Closed until 1pm

Tuesday 25th, February: Closed until 3pm

Wednesday, 26th February:Closed until 1230pm

Thursday, 27th February: Closed until 1pm

Hawarden Ladies Tournament Report

Perfect, sunny and good conditions at Hawarden Ladies tournament last Wednesday and a fabulous day was had by all.  The Hanmer ladies of Bev Pool, Maree Herlund, Nicky West and Carolyn Williams played excellent team golf with (best 3 out 4 stablefords on each hole) had an impressive 60 stablefords on the front nine, with a little hiccup in their last 3 holes coming home still managed a credible 3rd with 106 points only 7 points off the leaders.   

Great fun and lots of laughs.
